Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on 20 July 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she is responsible covering everything from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the advent and growth in space travel. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as an White House reporter for FOX News, covering both the Biden and Trump administrations on space issues. During that time, she was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The extensive trips she took with the President and Vice-President included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up through local TV news markets including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin utilized her knowledge in the field to create Field Mouse Films. The company was a specialist in documentary films and was a favorite of corporate clients like Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor in Science in Journalism which she obtained from Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
