Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States as well as Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She is currently an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN, working as an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She began her career at ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by when she was nine years old. This ability that allowed her to get her first position as a Univision Production Assistant in Miami. She collaborated with producers for national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. The CBS station of St. Petersburg hired her following this to become an sports reporter. She moved in 2009 into Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 1992, the couple divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo, an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. While on a vacation, Antonietta stayed at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered an offer to work. Antonietta was a senior high school student however, she had a clear idea of her goals for the future. She visited Mount Union University in order to see if it was a good fit for her. At the end of the day she fell in love with the school. And they offered her major. After completing the requirements for high school, she was accepted into the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked for many years, became an acquaintance. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his passion for journalism.
